Welcome to the website of the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Branch of the NAACP!  The mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate race-based discrimination.

Our branch committees advocate for justice on a local and state level, addressing issues in education, labor rights, housing, health, the environment, and more.

We normally meet the first Saturday of the month at 1pm at the Rogers Road Community Center.  Our next meeting will be January 6th. Members and non-members alike are welcome. Our Youth Council also meets every first Saturday of the month at 10am at YouthWorx Carrboro.
